TNE Civil worked on the Thornlie–Cockburn Link from 2020, initially constructing new lining walls inside the Glen Iris Tunnel before returning in 2024 to deliver track slabs and the MCR walkway.

The FRP scope included capping beams for the Kenwick Tunnel dive structures, Ranford Road culvert bases, ground beams, crash barriers and more than 800 linear metres of access walkways.

TNE Civil also delivered 3,000 m² of Class 2 shotcrete, vacuum excavation, electrification screens and five months of remedial works within the existing Kenwick Tunnel.
